MNC Solution "will become a global motion control leader based on the capabilities of the defense space agency."

2024.11.17

"MNC Solutions (MNC Solutions) is expected to see stable growth in its existing business due to K-dispersible growth.

In the future, we plan to accelerate our advance into the aerospace field, which has a very high potential for development,

and to leap forward as a global motion control leader by discovering additional new businesses without distinguishing between civil and defense based on our existing technologies."

Kim Byung-geun, CEO of MNC Solutions, recently met with Maeil Economy and made the statement.

In addition to the days of Motrol, the predecessor, it was established in 1974 and was designated as a defense industry in 1976,

and it is a company that has accumulated technology and know-how in the defense sector for nearly 50 years.

In particular, it is mainly producing parts that drive various weapons and control precise movements in all fields of the defense industry.

It has secured it as a customer by forming a long-term partnership with leading defense companies such as Hanwha Aerospace, Hyundai Rotem, LIG Nex1 and KAI.

In the ground sector, guns and turrets used in K2 tanks and K9 self-propelled guns are produced, as well as suspension devices.

In the induction sector, driving devices such as Cheonmu and Cheongung, hydraulic systems for launchers, hydraulic pumps such as KUH and KF-21 and fuel control devices are manufactured in the aviation sector.

In addition, it provides winch systems for eavesdropping equipment such as ships and submarines, antenna driving and stabilizing devices, etc.

Recently, products have been supplied to the aerospace field, such as three-stage thrust control (TVC) driving devices for space projectiles and satellite-mounted driving devices satellites.

"MNC Solution is the only company in Korea that provides high value-added motion control, and there are no competitors in Korea," CEO Kim said.

"Anyone can participate when a new development task is announced, but it is continuously selected in the national development task announcement

in recognition of its accumulated development capabilities, mass production capabilities, and quality management capabilities."

In fact, the backlog of orders for development projects currently in progress is around 150 billion won, more than doubling from 70 billion won three years ago.

The number of R&D personnel was 47 three years ago, but it increased to 85.

"The core competency of MNC solutions is R&D capability, which has the ability to meet all types of motion control requirements required by customers,"

he said. "Having R&D organizations and accumulated development task assets is a core competitiveness."

It's performance is also rapidly growing in line with the high rise in K-bangsan.

Last year's sales amounted to 180.9 billion won, up 50% from the previous year (1206 billion won).

This year, cumulative sales by the third quarter were 188.5 billion won, already exceeding last year's total sales.

Compared to the same period last year, the figure increased by 78.6%. Based on this, the company decided to maintain a 50% dividend payout ratio for three years after listing.

Representative Kim explained, "The Russia-Ukraine war has greatly raised the importance of self-defense due to security instability in countries around Europe, and the K-dissemination has been praised,

and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has also expanded its K-dissemination into the Middle East, which has had a positive impact on the company's growth."

CEO Kim plans to accelerate the stable growth of the defense industry while promoting maintenance, maintenance, and maintenance (MRO) projects and entry

into the public-acceptance motion control market and diversify the business.

In the MRO business, it plans to expand overseas by strengthening marketing to global major companies that have recently been struggling to supply parts due to wars around the world.

It is also seeking opportunities to enter the civil market in various fields such as industrial machinery, data centers, and wind power generation, which are in high demand for localization.

In particular, MNC Solution succeeded in developing and mass-producing its own "Serbo Valve" for defense, which had been dependent on imports,

in 1999 for the first time in Korea and is exclusively supplying it to the domestic weapons system.

The servo valve is a valve that precisely controls flow and pressure using fine current signals.

As it has already succeeded in mass production of civilian use, it will push for supply to data centers and wind power industries that need precise control.

CEO Kim said, "Most of the public funds will be used to build a second plant to secure production capacity (CAPA), build a comprehensive R&D center, and replace old facilities," adding,

"In the case of civilian products, their price-performance is superior to that of existing imported products, so the import substitution effect will be great for domestic companies that relied on expensive imported products."

Meanwhile, MNC Solution is scheduled to start forecasting demand from the 26th.

The desired range of public offering price is 80,000 won to 93,300 won, and the expected market capitalization is 756.3 billion won to 882 billion won.

It then plans to make a general subscription on the 5th and 6th of next month and list it on the stock market within this year. The CEO is KB Securities.
