CMG (Control Momentum Gyroscope)

Control Mornentum Gyroscope(CMG) is an actuator that controls a satelite's position by generating torque based on the principle of gyroscope. CMG consists of a rotor spinning at high speed and an electric gimbal actuating the angular momentum of the rotor. CMG also can generate large torque even with low power consumption, and is an essential method for satellites that require high mobility and precision control by rapid response chracteristics.
